Pretty Pastel Meringue Cookie Pops

Easy to bake and fun to eat, these pretty meringue pops are a light and airy treat. They whip up in no time at all—just use one of our classic meringue mixtures, some piping bags and a couple of our star tips for decorating. Add food coloring to the batter to make beautiful pastel swirls and then top with your favorite sprinkles for a homemade treat that will impress friends and family on any occasion, especially baby showers and weddings!

Ingredients

  • Meringue Recipe

  • Clear Imitation Vanilla Extract

  • Wilton Assorted Sprinkles Mix

  • White Nonpareils

  • Sky Blue Icing Color

  • Orange Icing Color

  • Pink Icing Color

  • Supplies

  • 6-Inch Cookie Sticks, 20-Count

  • Parchment Paper

  • Large Cookie Sheet

  • Open Star Tip 4B

  • Open Star Tip 2D

  • Open Star Tip 21

  1. Prepare Batter. Follow Meringue Recipe Instructions.
  2. Tint Batter. Divide batter into three bowls. Using icing colors, tint one portion sky blue, one orange and one pink.
  3. Prepare Decorating Bags. Prepare three decorating bags with tips 4B, 2D and 21. Stripe each bag with all three batter colors.
  4. Prepare Cookie Sheet. Pipe dot of batter onto each corner of cookie sheet. Place parchment paper on sheet. Place lollipop stick onto parchment paper.
  5. Make Pops. Preheat over at 250°F. Starting one inch above the lollipop stick, pipe shell on each side, ends overlapping, forming a tight braid. Repeat until you reach the middle stick. Repeat steps with other tips.
  6. Decorate Pops. Top with jimmies from sprinkles mix and white nonpareils..
  7. Bake Pops. Bake for 45 minutes. Shut oven off, let set in oven for 2 hours.
