What is California's Assembly Bill 1200?
California Assembly Bill 1200 is a right-to-know law that requires manufacturers to post a website disclosure about their cookware products based on whether certain designated chemicals are intentionally added to the products’ food contact components and handles. Starting January 1, 2024, manufacturers of cookware containing certain designated chemicals that are intentionally added to the products’ food contact components and handles must label the presence of these chemicals on the product label.
