Plum Clafoutis

Have you always wanted to make a fancy French dessert but thought you lack the skills to pull it off? This plum clafoutis is not only quick and easy, it's impressive as well. Plums cut into wedges are covered in a custard-like batter and baked in a round cake pan. Top with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and fini!

  • Pink Color Mist Food Color Spray, 1.5 oz.

  • Light Cocoa Candy Drizzles Pouch

  • Red Color Mist Food Color Spray, 1.5 oz.

  • Bright Pink Candy Drizzles Pouch

  • Sweetheart Sprinkle Mix

  • Pink Sanding Sugar, 3.25 oz.

  • Bright White Candy Drizzles Pouch

  • Red Sanding Sugar, 3.25 oz.

  • Gold Color Mist Shimmering Food Color Spray, 1.5 oz.

  • Store bought Sandwich cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare 9 in. round pan with vegetable pan spray.
  2. In large bowl, toss plums with ¼ cup sugar. Arrange in an even layer in prepared pan.
  3. In large bowl, whisk together remaining ½ cup sugar, eggs, milk, cream vanilla, salt and almond extract until smooth. Add flour and whisk just until smooth. Pour batter over plums and sprinkle with almonds.
  4. Bake 47-52 minutes, or until just set in center. Cool in pan on cooling grid. Dust with confectioners’ sugar just before serving. If not serving within 2 hours, refrigerate until ready to serve
