  1. Make layered cakes.
Bake and cool two 6 in. x 2 in.; three 8 in. x 2 in. and one 12 in. x 3 in. cake layers. Level, stack and fill layers on same-size cake circles: 6 in. 2-layer 4 in. high cake; 8 in. 3-layer 5 in. high cake; 12 in. 1-layer 3 in. high cake.
  2. Ice cakes.
Ice cakes smooth, but thick. Use a 9 in. angled spatula to pull and twist imprints on cake sides and tops. Prepare cakes for tiered construction; stack tiers.
  3. Decorate cake.
Spray all cake surfaces with pearl Color Mist spray. Arrange fresh flowers and herbs in fresh flower spikes; insert in cake.
  4. NOTE: Be sure to choose flowers and herbs that have not been sprayed with pesticides.
