Using a decorating bag fitted with Tip 199, hold the bag straight up, with the tip slightly above the surface.
Using heavy pressure, squeeze and form the base of the tree. Let the icing build up but keep the tip slightly buried in the icing. Stop squeezing but do not move the tip.
Repeat Step 2, decreasing pressure and the size of the star.
Repeat until you reach the top of the tree, then pull the tip away.
