Notes:

Use finger dipped in cornstarch to tap down any loose or unfinished edges on petals.
Poppies can be piped in royal Icing then dried in a flower forming bowl for later use.
When piped in buttercream poppies can be placed directly on a cake or easily frozen then picked up and placed on a cake or treat.
