A pretty buttercream bow is the perfect way to add a finishing touch to your dessert. Made using a standard round tip, this buttercream bow is first piped using a figure-8 motion, then streamers are added for a finished look.

  • Notes:

    • To change the size of your bow, use a larger round tip, like tip 10.
    • To change the look of your piped bow, use a star decorating tip, like tip 18.
    • To create a flat ribbon bow, use a petal tip, like tip 104, and pipe bow with wide end of tip down and narrow end of tip up. After piping both loops, hold bag so tip opening is horizontal at the center of the bow. Squeeze and move bag downwards to form bow knot. Return to the same position as bow loop. Hold bag vertical, with wide end down and narrow end up; pipe streamers.
