

Honey Whiskey Balls

AmountMakes about 2 dozen cookies.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
1 cup finely chopped walnuts, toasted
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons honey whiskey liqueur
1 to 2 tablespoons water, if necessary
cocoa powder, cookie crumbs, confectioners' sugar

- In large bowl, combine wafer crumbs, walnuts, confectioners' sugar and salt. Stir to combine. Add honey and whiskey; stir to combine. If mixture looks dry, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until mixture holds together.
- Form dough into 1 in. balls and roll in desired coating. Store in airtight container if not serving immediately. Re-roll in coating before serving.
