Eco Color Sparkles Checkerboard Cake

Fresh eco colors highlighted with sparkles decorate this cake that has the blue and green colors of our favorite planet--earth! It's fun to decorate using the All Occasion Checkerboard Square Cake Pan Set, the Color Right Performance Color System, cake sparkles and sugars and two cake mixes!

Bake Cake. Prepare cake mixes separately, according to recipe. Tint batters according to formulas listed. Follow the directions in the Checkerboard Cake Pan packaging, using two batter colors in each layer. Bake and cool cake.
Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint the following shade
- Neon Blue: One prepared white cake mix + 15 B
- Neon Green: One prepared white cake mix + 25 Y + 3 B
Assemble Cake. Stack layers with icing between, alternating color sections from top to bottom.
Ice cake. Ice top and sides of cake smooth in white icing. Mix approx. ½ cup of each color sparkles and sugars, Sprinkle on top and sides of cake, pressing in gently to adhere.
