Decorate cupcakes. Fill cones separately with black, gold and white sugars. Tap cones gently to sprinkle sugar onto the patterns, and use a small brush to sweep sugar into place. Approximately one teaspoon of sugar is needed for each cupcake.
Once sugar is in place on pattern, hold frosted cupcake upside down and roll gently in sugar, tilting from side to side. Repeat process for all cupcakes.
