Rated 4 out of 5 by dschroeder from This is the first time I have attempted this tree, although I had been wanting to make one for years. First of all, I would thin the pour frosting down and use 2 coats. When it is thick it does not drip off the edges consistently and starts to set quite fast which makes it difficult to cover the edges uniformly. I did roll the large stars on the cookie sheet with parchment paper and that worked very well. I will finish this today, Making a white tree with baby blue accents and pearls. It will be gorgeous, but time consuming. I have done this over the course of a few days to allow the initial frosting to dry properly. Good luck!
