One day in advance: Make flowers on waxed paper covered cake board. Tint portions of royal icing rose and violet. For each cupcake make 14 tip 224 drop flowers in rose and violet; add tip 2 dot flower centers in white. Let dry overnight.
One day in advance: Roll out yellow and pink fondant 1/8 in. thick. Cut out duck and umbrella using cutters from set. Let dry overnight on cornstarch-dusted surface.
Using yellow fondant, make a teardrop-shaped wing. Attach umbrella and wing to duck with damp brush. Using FoodWriters, draw eyes and beak. Let dry.
Bake and cool cupcakes; ice smooth in light blue buttercream. Position drop flowers on cupcake; add tip 352 leaves in green. Position duck.
