Warm in Any Storm Mini Cake
These mini cakes will bring plenty of warm smiles! These treats are baked in the Mini Ball Pan and decorated with Ready-To-Use Rolled Fondant for a festive finishing touch.
Each mini cake serves 1.
Ice mini ball cakes smooth.
Tint fondant blue and roll out 1/4 in. thick. Cut a 4 in. square for hat; shape into a cone and attach to cake with icing.
Pipe tip 17 zigzag brim and rosette pompom. For scarf, cut an 8 x 1 1/2 in. strip; wrap around cake. Using scissors, cut slits at ends for fringe.
Shape a small ball of fondant into a knot; attach with damp brush. Position chocolate chip eyes and mouth, candy corn nose.
The Zigzag is a popular way to fill in outlined areas, perfect for ribbed sweater and cuff effects. You can also use tight zigzags to cover the entire side of your cake—they look great!
