- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9 in. x 5 in. loaf pan.
- In medium bowl, combine flour baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and walnuts. In large bowl, stir together bananas, sugar, butter, applesauce and vanilla. Add flour mixture to banana mixture; stir just until combined. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to cooling grid; cool completely.
