  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1-1/4 cups firmly-packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Wilton Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 package (10 oz.) Limited Edition Vanilla Custard Candy Melts Candy

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Step 3

In large bowl, stir together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture to butter 1 cup at a time, mixing until just combined.

Step 4

Roll cookie dough into 1-1/2 in. balls; press 3 Candy Melts candy discs in a line into the center of each ball, forming the dough over and around the discs, shaping into an egg shape. Place on cookie pan 2 inches apart; flatten slightly.

Step 5

Bake 11-13 minutes. Cool on pan on cooling grid 2 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on grid. If desired, drizzle tops with remaining melted Candy Melts candy.
