Decorate cake. Prepare buttercream icing
following recipe directions. Tint portions leaf
green/lemon yellow combination (for light
green), leaf green/kelly green combination
(for dark green), lemon yellow/golden
yellow combination (for yellow) and black.
Reserve remaining white.
Use spatula and dark green icing to build
up back of cake for turtle shell. Use spatula
and light green icing to ice bottom of feet
smooth.
Use tip 3 and white icing to pipe in eyes. Pat
smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.
Use tip 3 and black icing to pipe in pupils
and inside of mouth. Pat smooth. Use tip
3 and yellow icing to outline tummy and
tummy sections. Use tip 16 and yellow icing
to fill in tummy with stars. Use tip 16 and
light green icing to cover head and body
with stars. Use tip 8 and light green icing to
outline shell sections. Use tip 18 and dark
green icing to fill in shell with stars. Use tip
3 and dark green icing to pipe dot nostrils.
