Tulip Time Cupcakes is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These cupcakes were quite easy to make, and they made a big hit at the reception for which they were made. The most time consuming part was making the tulips, simply because they needed to be made several days before. However, making the color flow tulips in advance, made the actual day for baking and decorating the cupcakes quite easy. This was the first time that I had used the tip for making the grass, and I found it was quite easy to use. It only took a few moments to get the feel for how to use it. Altogether I made 125 cupcakes for the reception and displayed them on various cupcake and cake stands as well as on several silver trays. The overall display looked like a field of tulips, and gave a lift in spirit to the guests on a cloudy, rainy day. After one person mistook the tulips for colored Easter eggs, I realized that using color flow eggs instead of tulips would have worked just as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It takes a lot of time. Plan ahead. The cookies can be made some days in advance since they stay good a long time. This makes a stunning center piece!
