Make cupcakes. Bake and cool one mini and one standard cupcake for each treat following recipe directions. Prepare buttercream icing. Tint a portion of icing rose. Reserve some white.
Use spatula and white icing to ice standard cupcake smooth. Use tip 12 and rose icing to pipe swirl to cover top of mini cupcake. Position sour cherry candy on mini cupcake.
Make mini cupcake facial features. Melt black Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Use melted black candy and a cut parchment bag to attach candy eyeballs and to pipe outline mouth. Let set.
Position mini cupcake on standard cupcake.
Make mini cupcake arms and legs. Use scissors to cut two licorice pieces 1 in. long for arms and 1 1/2 in. for legs. Roll out yellow and green spice drops 1/8 in. thick on parchment paper sprinkled with granulated sugar. Use scissors to cut two yellow hand shapes, 3/4 in. x 5/8 in. and two green foot shapes, 5/8 in. x 1/2 in. Use melted black candy to attach hands to arms and feet to legs. Let set.
