Make cookies. Prepare cookie dough following recipe directions. Roll balls in white sparkling sugar. Bake and cool cookies.
Dip cookies. Melt light cocoa Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Use dipping tongs to dip cookie half way into melted candy. Place on parchment-lined pan. Immediately attach toppings to cookie. Chill until firm, about 5 to 10 minutes. Reserve melted light cocoa candy. Serve as is, or make drizzled or double-dipped cookies.
Make drizzled cookies. Place cookies on rack positioned over parchment-covered pan. Use reserved melted light cocoa candy in cut decorating bag to drizzle melted candy over cookie toppings. Chill until firm, about 5 to 10 minutes.
Make double-dipped cookies. Use dipping tongs to dip topping-covered end of cookie into reserved melted light cocoa candy. Place on parchment-covered pan. Chill until firm, about 5 to 10 minutes.
