This is a great looking cake but I did not find it to be as easy as I thought it would be. It is tricky working with the royal icing to make the people. People should be made at least a day in advance. Seems like one of those things that the more you do, the better it will turn out. That is the story with the people. Just have to remember that no matter how they turn out, the finished product will make you smile. It is a fun cake. I plan on doing it again and again.
