Adding color details to candies makes them more realistic and much more fun! For large areas of color, it's best to paint the melted candy right in the mold before the whole candy is molded using a decorator brush. Or, for very small details like vines, mouths and messages, melted candy should be piped onto molded candies using a parchment bag with a small hole cut in the tip.

Add that special touch to your cake with your special someone´s name.

Streetlight Candy Treats is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made these (without the name plate) for a ladies' Christmas tea. They loved them. I only used them for decorative purposes as part of a snowman themed centerpiece. You can make the snowmen from cake pops, but I found that making them with fondant is better. for the base I used 1/4 inch thick fondant (cut with medium cookie cutter) and poured melted white chocolate over it (helps to seal the fondant and forms a hardened surface), covered with coconut (snow)--cool for about 10 minutes. I also used some melted white chocolate to help hold the lamp post in place. I made the lanterns out of fondant; it holds up better than fudge. To make the hats, I used a chocolate wafer with the point cut off; turned it upside down, melted it slightly or use frosting to attach it to the snowman's head. Use a gumdrop for the top of the hat. (creates a 3-D look).
