  • Favorite chocolate cake mix or recipe

  • Creamy White Decorator Icing, 4 lb. Tub

  • Kelly Green Icing Color

  • Leaf Green Icing Color

  • Teal Icing Color

  • Black Icing Color

  • Christmas Jimmies Sprinkle Mix

  • Tools

  • Green Tree Cake Pan

  • Cooling Grid

  • Disposable Decorating Bags

  • Star Decorating Tip 1M

  • Star Decorating Tip 4B

  • Star Decorating Tip 21

  • Star Decorating Tip 32

  1. Bake cake. Prepare chocolate cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool in tree cake pan.
  2. Tint icing. Using Leaf Green icing color, tint ½ cup icing light green. Using Kelly Green icing color, tint 1 cup icing medium green.

    Combine Kelly Green and Black icing colors to get dark green color shown. Combine Kelly Green and Teal icing colors to get teal color shown. Tint ½ cup icing dark green and 1 cup icing teal.

    Prepare decorating bags as follows:

    • Tip 21 and light green buttercream
    • Tip 32 and dark green buttercream
    • Tip 1M and medium green buttercream
    • Tip 4B and teal buttercream
  3. Decorate cake. Alternating bags, pipe stars and rosettes in various sizes to fill the cake, leaving the bark area plain.

    Top with jimmies.
