In advance: Make stars. Roll out white fondant 1/8 in. thick. Cut stars using largest Cut-Out from
set. Brush with water and sprinkle on Pearlized
Sugar. Let dry on cornstarch-dusted board.
Bake and cool mini cakes. Place on Cooling
Grid over waxed paper-covered Cookie Sheet.
Tint icing blue. Cover cakes with heated icing. Let set. Roll out red and white fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut 1/8 in. wide strips and attach to
cake tops using damp brush; alternate colors
and trim ends as needed. Attach sparkling star
to center with icing.
