Make front door. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut door. Use damp brush and cover door with sugar. Attach to house. Use icing to outline door, and attach candy around door, for door window and doorknob.
Make all windows. Roll out fondant 1 1/6 in. thick. Use damp brush to attach sugar. Attach to house. Use white icing to outline windows and windowpanes. Attach candy to sides and under windows.
Decorate house front. Attach candy stars in a circle pattern on front. Attach candy pearls around circle, radiating into points.
Outline house. Use white icing to pipe zigzags at corners.
Decorate roof. Use spatula to ice roof. Use edge of spatula to mark deep indents on roof in a shingle pattern. Sprinkle with sugar. Attach candy. Use icing to pipe zigzags on roof peak. Attach candy.
Decorate base. Use spatula and icing to ice base fluffy. Sprinkle with sugar. Attach candy for pathway.
