Add sparkle to your holiday by decorating a gingerbread castle, shimmering and sparkling to the delight of all who see it. Kit includes pre-baked embossed gingerbread pieces, icing, fondant, sprinkles and sugars.
Attach fondant. Place castle pieces on flat surface. Roll out white fondant 1/16 in. thick, lay fondant on castle front and back panels and trim fondant to fit turrets. Attach with damp brush. Use end of decorating tip to imprint details.
Make door and all windows. Use white icing to fill in door on front and windows. Pat smooth. Use blue icing to outline door and windows. Pipe windowpanes on side windows. Attach snowflakes sprinkles above and below windows.
Decorate castle front and back. Use blue icing to fill in ring areas of castle. Add blue sugars. Use white icing to outline areas. Attach candy. Use blue icing to outline bottom of turrets. Attach candy. Let dry 2 to 4 hours.
Assemble castle. Follow instruction sheet included in package to assemble castle.
Outline castle. Use white icing to pipe zigzags on seams.
Decorate base. Use spatula and icing to ice base. Attach candy for pathway and around castle.
