A fun treat for all your gal pals, these Solemates Valentine Cookies are sure to please! Topped with a sparkling heart, these lovely Valentine’s Day-inspired pumps will compliment any Valentine’s dinner (and outfit!). Since these Valentine’s cookies feature the flow-in technique, these cookies are very easy to decorate and just need to sit for a few hours to dry. Just like your favorite pair of shoes, you’ll find yourself coming back to these fun shoe cookies again and again!
In advance: Make fondant hearts. Tint portions of fondant rose, red and black.
Roll out 1/16 in. thick. Cut hearts using smallest cutter. Brush tops with piping gel;
sprinkle with colored sugar. Let dry.
Step 2
Prepare and roll out dough. Cut shoe cookies using metal cutter. Bake and cool.
Step 3
Tint portions of icing rose, red and black. Outline shoes and openings with tip 3 and
full-strength icing. Flow in with thinned icing. Let dry.
Pipe tip 2 scrolls with
full-strength icing. Let dry. Attach hearts to cookies with full-strength icing.
