My daughter and I made this cake as a team effort. It was probably the most fun cake I've ever made. We had to improvise here and there with ideas that worked best for us. The floor, for instance, we made of patterned paper placed on the cake board, then "laminated" with clear tape. This was a real time saver. In doing so, we needed less of the fondant. Our bathtub was less smooth than the one in the photo, so we added more corner and edge detail to cover up some imperfections. This cake was a Mother's day gift in itself, as the time my daughter and I spent together was absolutely priceless! Thank you for the great ideas Wilton.
