In advance: Make globe Snowman. Tint
fondant: 2 oz. green; 1/2 oz. each black,
red, orange; reserve 5 oz. white. Roll out 1/8 in. thick unless otherwise specified.
Tape top hole of 2 in. globe closed. Using
white fondant, cover 2 in. globe with 4 in.
circle; cover 2.5 in. globe with 2 1/2 x 8 in.
strip. Smooth with hands; use knife to trim
away excess and clear open holes. Slide
globes onto a trimmed 4 in. long pillar from
Roll a 1 1/4 in. ball of green into
1 1/2 in. high cone-shaped hat. Attach with
melted candy. Cut a 3/8 x 5 1/2 in. strip; attach
for trim. Roll a 5/8 in. diameter ball; attach
for pompom. Using green, cut a 3/8 x 6 1/2 in.
strip; attach around neck with damp brush
for scarf. Cut two additional 3/8 in. wide
strips, one 1 1/2 in. long for tails, one 1 1/2 in.
long for knot. Use scissors to cut 3/8 in.
deep slits for fringe in both ends of 1 1/2 in.
long piece. Fold in half and attach. Attach
1/2 in. long strip for knot.
Roll and flatten 3/8 in. balls for black eyes and red buttons;
roll a cone-shaped orange nose 3/4 in. long;
roll tiny black balls for mouth. Attach trims
using damp brush. For arms, roll 1 1/2 x 3/16 in.
diameter black logs; cut 3/8 in. slit in end for
hand. Insert 1 1/4 in. long piece of spaghetti.
Attach to sides using melted candy.
Bake and cool cupcakes using baking cups
from pack. Ice tops smooth. Sprinkle on
Sparkling Sugar snow. Insert picks. Attach
snowman to stand with melted candy.
