Bake firm batter cake (such as pound cake) 1 in. high in sheet pan. Use tree cutter to cut tree; trim trunk area off tree. Place cake on cooling grid positioned over sheet pan. Add a small amount of melted white candy to melted green candy to lighten shade.
Cover cakes with melted candy; let set.
Use small knife to cut holes in cake to accommodate arms and legs. Trim licorice to 1 1/2 in. lengths and insert into cake.
Roll out tinted fondant and cut black eyebrows, pupils and mouth; green nose, brown shoes, pink cheeks and tongue. Use medium star cut out to cut star. Attach all pieces to cake with melted candy.
