Step 1

In advance: Make 14 fondant daisies using medium Cut-Out.

Also: Prepare base board. Using pan as a pattern, cut plywood or foamcore 1 1/2 in. wider than pan on all sides. Roll out fondant 1/8 in. thick and imprint design following instructions on Imprint Mat package. Cover board with rolled fondant. Brush outer 2 in. with Pearl Dust.

Step 2

Bake and cool cake. Prepare and cover with rolled fondant. Use brush to cover flat areas of cake top with Pearl Dust. Position cake on prepared board. Using buttercream icing, pipe tip 4 bead bottom border. Attach daisies across top with dots of icing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used this pan for Christening Cakes. It comes out adorable. I have iced the cross the appropriate color for the gender then used a round tip to create swirls in brown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I took the advice of another reviewer and just made 4 calla lillies in the middle. I got so many compliments. I made it for my son's baptism and at a church gathering. I found that placing the fondant on the corners to be easier than on rounds. I used the new fondant/gum paste mold to do the bead borders, it was so much easier than piping individually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I felt this was easy. Rolling out the fondant takes a lot of time, but it is worth it. Instead of th daisys I made calla lillies for the center. It looked great once it was done.
