These mini cupcakes are a constellation of sweet treats! Topped with both pull-out stars and colorful fondant stars, these mini cupcakes are great for any occasion and can be made in no time. Tint fondant. Tint 1 oz. fondant each coral, yellow, dark magenta and green using color combinations provided. Combine Orange and Rose icing colors to get coral color shown. Combine Lemon Yellow and Golden Yellow icing colors to get yellow color shown. Combine Rose and Sky Blue icing colors to get dark magenta color shown. Combine Lemon Yellow and touch of Moss Green icing colors to get green color shown. Using fondant roller with pink guide rings, roll out tinted fondant, separately. Using star cutter, cut out six stars of each color. Set aside on cornstarch-dusted cake board.
Bake mini cupcakes. Prepare chocolate cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool in mini cupcake liners.
Tint icing. Divide icing equally into four portions. Tint one portion each coral, yellow, dark magenta and green using color combinations provided.
Decorate mini cupcakes. Prepare four decorating bags with tip 6B. Fill separately with coral, yellow, dark magenta and green icing. Alternating colors, pipe pull-out star on each mini cupcake. Position fondant star (in different color) on each mini cupcake.
