Bake cakes. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers. Level, fill and stack for 4 in. high cake.
Tint icing. Combine Rose and Sky Blue icing colors to get magenta color shown. Using color combinations provided, tint 6 cups icing magenta.
Decorate cake. Spatula ice cake smooth using magenta icing. Prepare decorating bag with tip 1M and remaining magenta icing. Starting at bottom, pipe rows of rosettes around entire cake. Repeat until sides are covered. Repeat pattern on top of cake, starting at edge and working towards center.
