1 DAY IN ADVANCE
Bake and cool 6 in. round cake. Cake is two layers, 5 in. high (two 2 1/2 in. layers). Place cake on foil-wrapped cake circle.
Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint portions light and medium
rose. Use spatula and medium rose icing to ice cake smooth. Mound icing 1/2 in. high in center of cake top.
