Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers.
Level, fill and stack cakes. Ice cake smooth. Using tip of spatula, make vertical swipes around sides of cake.
Tint icing. Using Leaf Green icing color, tint ½ cup icing medium green. Using Lemon Yellow icing color, tint ½ cup icing yellow. Using Kelly Green icing color, tint ½ cup icing green. Tint ½ cup icing each dark purple, light green, dark-dark green and blue-green using color combinations provided. Combine Violet, Burgundy and Black icing colors to get dark purple color shown. Combine Kelly Green and Black icing colors to get dark green color shown. Combine Lemon Yellow and Leaf Green icing colors to get light green color shown. Combine Teal and Kelly Green icing colors to get blue-green color shown. Reserve remaining icing white.
Prepare decorating bags. Prepare 7 decorating bags with the following tips and icing combinations:
Tip 32: Stripe bag with dark green, light green and green icing*
Tip 32: Stripe bag with dark green and green icing*
Tip 18: Stripe bag with teal and medium green icing
Tip 21: Stripe bag with blue-green, light green and yellow icing
Tip 12: Stripe bag with dark purple and dark green icing
Tip 5: Stripe bag with green and medium green icing
Tip 1: Fill bag with reserved white icing
*Pipe cacti using bag with dark green, light green and green icing first. Wash out tip. Prepare new bag with clean tip 32 and dark green and green icing.
Pipe succulents. Using bags with tips 21 and 32, pipe large and small cacti along top edges of cake. Using bag with tip 1, pipe dots on ridges of cacti.
Using bags with tips 5, 12 and 18, use pull-out star technique to pipe large, medium and small succulents along top edges of cake.
Decorate cake. Using spoon, carefully sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top of cake.
