Made using Rosanna Pansino’s 12-Cavity Swirl Pan, these mini cakes are great for beginners and also make fun and delicious editions to a holiday cookie or treat platter. You could even use blue or green icing to make winter hats instead, making these adorable cold-weather desserts for any snowy celebration!

Step 1

Bake mini cakes. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool mini cakes.

Step 2

Tint icing. Using Christmas Red icing color, tint 2 cups icing red. Using spatula, ice mini cakes. Reserve remaining icing white.

Step 3

Decorate cupcakes. Prepare decorating bag with coral tip 12 and white icing. Pipe swirls around edge of mini cakes and one dot on top of treat.
