When it comes to cake decorating, you’ve got to put your heart into it! With this Hearts Full of Color Cake, you can make anyone’s day just a little bit brighter. Use the Rosanna Pansino 6 in. cake pan to make your cake layers, then melt Candy Melts candies to make cute 8-bit candy hearts that surround this cake with love!
Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool three cake layers. Fill and stack for 6 in. high cake.
Melt candy. Melt Blue, Lavender, Orange, Vibrant Green, Yellow, Turquoise and Bright Pink candy, separately, according to package directions. Using one color at a time, fill heart cavities ½ way. Chill until set, about 10 to 15 minutes. You will need 30 hearts total.
Decorate cake. Ice cake smooth. Using tip of spatula, create swirl on top of cake.
Arrange hearts around side of cake, alternating colors.
