Bake cupcakes. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in white cupcake liners.

Starting with 1M bag of yellow icing, pipe rosette on cupcake. Repeat with 1M orange icing, piping small rosette on top of yellow icing. Using 1M white icing, pipe small swirl on top of orange icing. Repeat same technique with 2A bags.
Reserve tip 2A bags.
Candy corn cupcakes: Using yellow bag with tip 2A, pipe ring around outer edge of cupcake. Using orange bag with tip 2A, pipe ring inside yellow. Using white bag with tip 2A, pipe dot in center.
Using toothpick, indent icing, dividing into 8 equal sections.
Spatula-iced cupcakes: Using spatula, ice cupcakes smooth with remaining yellow, orange and white icing.
You may think it’s just for piping stars and swirls, but the star decorating tip 1M can be used for so much more!
