  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Prepare cookie pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cake mix and cocoa powder. Add the eggs and butter and stir together until it's just combined.
  3. Take a heaping tablespoon full of the batter and roll it into a ball of dough, coat it in powdered sugar and place it on a large plate. Repeat the process until there’s no dough left.
  4. Place the plate filled with dough balls in the freezer and chill for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the freezer and roll in powdered sugar again before placing each ball of dough 2-in. apart on the prepared baking sheet or cookie pan.
  6. Bake cookies for 16 to 18 minutes or until the centers of the cookies are semi-firm to the touch.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool cookies while still on the pan on a cooling grid or wire rack for 2 minutes.
  8. Remove cookies from the pan, placing them on a cooling grid or wire rack to cool completely to room temperature, then enjoy!
