2 days in advance: Make rattle. Tint 4 oz. fondant violet; knead in 1/4 teaspoon Gum-Tex.
Roll out 1/8 in. thick. Use cutters from set to cut one small and one medium circle. Use wide end of tip 3 to cut hole in center of small circle. Trim cookie stick to 5 in. long. Wrap with a strip of fondant, 3/4 in. x 5 in.; let dry 24 hours. Roll out white and violet fondant 1/8 in. thick. Use knife to cut a white strip 1/4 in. x 3 in. attach to medium circle with damp brush. Use narrow end of tip 12 to cut 5 violet circles; attach to strip. Attach circles to stick with thinned fondant adhesive; leave 3 in. of stick exposed for handle. Let dry.
Bake and cool 2-layer sheet cake; trim layers to 1 1/2 in. high for a 3 in. high cake. Place on double-thick foil-wrapped board cut 3/4 in. larger than cake on all sides. Ice cake smooth.
Tint 8 oz. fondant each rose, yellow, blue and green. Roll out 1/8 in. thick as needed. Cut two strips, 3 in. x 7 in., in each color; reserve excess fondant.
Imprint strips with texture press. Cut strips to 1 in. x 3 in. (13 of each color needed). Attach to cake sides with tip 3 dots of icing, alternating colors as you go; trim as needed. Roll out reserved fondant. Cut five small circles in each color; attach to cake top, trimming at edges as needed.
Bake and cool monkey cake; trim to 1 in. high.
Place on cut-to-fit foil-wrapped board.

features. Using tip 3, pipe outline eyebrows;
outline and fill in eyes, nose and mouth (pat
smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Pipe tip 3 outlines around inner ears, face and

Position monkey on sheet cake. Cover cake with
tip 14 stars. Position rattle, supporting top with a
marshmallow. Pipe tip 12 outlines over rattle to
form fingers. Outline fingers with tip 3; cover with
tip 14 stars.
The star tip creates the most celebrated, easily accomplished decorations! The serrated edges of the star tip make ridges in the icing as you squeeze it out. Because fill in requires so much piping from the same bag, keep replenishing icing in bag.
