Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

In large bowl, combine flour, almonds, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Add butter to dry ingredients; mix with electric mixer until crumbly, 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside 1-1/2 cups of the mixture; press remaining onto bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 in. pan.

Step 3

Bake 14-16 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Spread jam over pre-baked crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over surface. Bake an additional 14-16 minutes or until jam is bubbling and topping is just beginning to brown. Cool completely in pan on cooling grid before cutting. Dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
