Rated 4 out of 5 by candicelyn from I did this cake last month for Easter. I did a basket weave which added a nice touch. I made the handle two days prior and it was pretty easy, but it broke in my travels to our family party. I should have put it on when we got there. I also used popsicle sticks from the craft aisle as I could not find the sucker sticks in my town but they worked just as well. I would love to make this cake again and just keep changing a few things each year to challenge my self. You can make this cake as hard or easy as you want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by katerbugs from I did this after taking the wilton classes last Easter, and decided to practice my basket weave technique instead of decorating it as shown. This made it look like a true basket. I also practiced my leaf piping instead of making fondant leaves. The cookies were easy to make and the fondant handle was relatively easy, except when I went to take the cake over to my mother's house, it broke in the car due to improper handling - so I suggest if you have to travel with this cake, to attach the handle after arriving to the destination. It got a lot of ooh's and ahh's and everyone took pictures, so it was definitely a hit! Give it a try, its easier than it looks. Have fun with it too by adding your own touches!
