Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare Doughnut Pan with vegetable pan spray.

Step 2

In large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. In small bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs and butter. Add to flour mixture and stir until just combined. Fill each pan cavity approximately 2/3 full.

Step 3

Bake 6-8 minutes or until tops of doughnuts spring back when touched. Cool doughnuts in pan on cooling grid 5 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely.

Step 4

In medium microwave-safe bowl, combine Pumpkin Spice Candy Melts Candy and cream. Microwave at 50% power 1 minute; stir. Microwave on 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melts are almost melted. Stir thoroughly until mixture is smooth. Dip tops of cooled doughnuts into candy; shake off excess and top immediately with sprinkles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are yummy! I purchased and received 2 donut pans this week, as recipes yield 12. The pumpkin spice donut recipe is what I used first. Boy did they come out delicious! I did exchange nutmeg for pumpkin pie spice. I will be making the apple donut next and will use the apple pie spice in the donut recipe. I also use Wilton Bake Easy on all my pans before filling, clean up is so easy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I found the batter of the donuts to be delicious but I did it with a twist so I can make it original. I baked the donuts for 10 minutes instead of 8 so it can give it a little color. The glaze was so delicious. Once the glaze was set on the donuts and I took a bite. I find the donuts very dry. But all around it was okay for me.
