Wake up your family with the warm smells of sweet cinnamon rolls and pumpkin spice. The drizzle of melted limited edition pumpkin spice Candy Melts candy make these rolls a fall family favorite to serve at breakfast or for an after school treat.
Prepare 13 in. x 9 in. baking pan with vegetable pan spray.
In large bowl, stir together hot roll mix, included yeast packet, hot water, pumpkin, 2 tablespoons butter, egg and vanilla. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 5 minutes or until smooth. Let dough rest 5 minutes.
For filling, stir together remaining 6 tablespoons butter, sugar, flour and pumpkin pie spice in medium bowl. Roughly chop half of the melts.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 20 in. x 12 in. rectangle. With spatula, spread filling evenly across dough. Sprinkle with chopped melts. Starting with 20 in. side, begin rolling the dough tightly, pressing edges to seal. Cut log into 12 pieces.
Place rolls in prepared pan, cut side down. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and a cloth towel. Let rest in a warm area 30 minutes or until almost doubled in size. Remove towel and plastic wrap.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Bake 16-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on cooling grid 10 minutes.
In medium microwave-safe container, combine remaining 1/2 package candy and cream. Microwave at half (50%) power 1 minute. Stir thoroughly until mixture is smooth. Spoon mixture over rolls; serve warm.
