Make lipstick candy two days in advance. Melt black, red and pink Candy Melts candy, separately, according to package directions. Use brush and melted candy to paint colors in lipstick mold from set, one color at a time. Once there is 1/8 in. thickness of candy, fill mold completely with matching melted colored candy. Chill 10 to 15 minutes. Unmold according to package directions.
Make cupcakes. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cupcakes. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Use spatula and icing to ice tops of cupcakes smooth. Let icing crust.
Use small square brush from brush set and orchid pink Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixture to gently write MOM on tops of cupcakes. Also, use brush and orchid pink Pearl Dust to brush on pink part of lipstick.
Assemble cupcakes. Use melted candy to attach lollipop stick to back of lipstick, leaving 1 in. to 1 1/2 in. of stick from point of lipstick. Chill until set 3 to 5 minutes.
Insert lipstick at an angle at the end of the last ?M.?

Adding color details to candies makes them more realistic and much more fun! For large areas of color, it's best to paint the melted candy right in the mold before the whole candy is molded using a decorator brush. Or, for very small details like vines, mouths and messages, melted candy should be piped onto molded candies using a parchment bag with a small hole cut in the tip.
