Work on your Swing Pretzel Bats

Ingredients

  • Pretzel rods

  • Chocolate nougat candies

  • Red Candy Melts Candy

  • Royal Blue Candy Melts Candy

  • Bases Loaded Baseball Cookies

  • Tools

  • 15inch Parchment Triangles

  • 10 x 16 Chrome-Plated Cooling Rack

  • Double Roll Parchment Paper

  1. Cover pretzels in nougat. Unwrap 4 chocolate nougat candies and knead together. Roll into 4 x 1 ½ in. rectangle, thicker on one end. Wrap nougat around pretzel, positioning thicker area at end.
  2. Dip pretzels in candy. Melt red Candy Melts candy in tall narrow container. Dip nougat covered end of pretzel in melted candy. Place on parchment paper covered cake board and chill to set, approx. 5 to 10 minutes. Place melted red candy in parchment triangle bag. Cut small opening and pipe knot at end of bat. Chill 5 minutes to set.
  3. Sign pretzel bat. Melt blue Candy Melts candy and place in parchment triangle bag. Cut small opening. Pipe message on bat. Let set.
