Make cake. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cake. Place cake on a foil-wrapped cake board, cut to fit.
Ice cake. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint black and orange. Use spatula and black icing to ice cavities, head and triangle between wings smooth. Use spatula and orange icing to ice body smooth.
Decorate cake. Use white Sugar Pearls to decorate area between wings. Fill cavities with black candy-coated chocolates.
