For simple syrup, combine water and sugar in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and transfer to glass bowl. Whisk in Crisp Champagne Flavor; cool completely.
In large bowl, combine pineapple juice, sugar, orange juice, salt, club soda, 1/2 cup simple syrup and zest; whisk until combined. Pour mixture into 9 in. x 9 in. square pan.
Freeze mixture 30 minutes. Using a fork, scrape the granita to break up any frozen spots. Continue freezing, scraping granita every 30 minutes until fully frozen, about 2 hours total. Scoop flaked granita into serving dish and serve immediately.
