  • 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Pineapple Buttercream

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
  • 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple juice (reserved from crushed pineapple)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh pineapple wedges and leaves, for garnish (optional)
