Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Fill the cookie jar with these "I love to bake and eat" cookies. They're chock full of rolled oats, raisins, walnuts, cinnamon and two types of sugars for just the right amount of sweetness. These oatmeal raisin cookies will become the new favorite in your house!

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups rolled oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cups (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract, 4 Oz.
1 egg
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl combine oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
- In large bowl, cream butter and sugars with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; mix well. Stir in oat mixture; mix well. Stir in walnuts and raisins. Drop by tablespoonfuls or use a cookie scoop onto cookie sheet 2-inches apart.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on pan on wire rack 5 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely.
