You don't need a lot of materials to create a cute gingerbread house with the family. With just a gingerbread house kit and a few icing pouches, you can make this festive North Pole Cottage Gingerbread House that's sure to be a sweet treat for kids and adults of all ages.   1. Decorate front of house. Using green icing with round tip, pipe double doors, outlining first then filling in; pat smooth. Outline again, piping line down center to divide doors in two. Add red candies for doorknobs.

    Using red and white icings with round tips, pipe two rows of ropes across middle of front of house.

    For top window, pipe large dot with white icing; pat smooth. Using red icing with round tip, outline and add window panes. Pipe three red dots on either side of doors.

  2. Decorate side and back of house. Using red icing with round tip, pipe windows; pat smooth. Add candies at base of window.

    Using red, green and white icings with round tips, pipe stripes covering seams of house.

  3. Decorate top of house. Using red and green icings with star tip, pipe zig-zag diamonds on roof, alternating colors. Using white icing with star tip, pipe zig-zag along edge of roof. Add candies to roof, as desired.
